It's chopper-time as Harley-Davidson surfaces pictures of the 2014 year model of their acclaimed Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG machine. If classic chopper looks and the timeless H-D character is what you've been after, then here's your awesome treat.
With an almost skinny 80mm-wide front tire and a chunky 180mm rear one, the 2014 Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG is all chopper attitude. And since the new Wide Glide was supposed to hark back in the times when choppers knew their greatest glory, it was only natural that the bike showed a nice 34-degree steering head rake, and a beefy front end.
A matte black wire sissy bar complements the aggressive drag bars, while its color is matching the darkened rims and mirrors and creates an eye-catching contrast with the rich chrome on the engine, airbox cover, cylinder heads and rocker covers, and the "Tommy Gun" 2-1-2 collector exhaust with dual stacked mufflers.
The Twin Cam 103 v-twin is delivering its might into the Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission, while the top-notch Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) makes sure the throttle is responsive and crisp, while mileage is kept under control, too.
ABS is also standard with the 2014 Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG, offering safer braking power and a more reassuring feel. Forward-mounted controls provide more leg room and adds to the mean look the Wide Glide breathes out as it blazes by.
Custom-type flame paint is available optionally, alongside a host of other model-specific parts and accessories to match the classic lines of this chopper. Price yet to surface.
