After we brought you the official images of the SEAT IBL Concept, it’s now time to give you our take on the car and its design language from first-hand experience in Frankfurt.
The president of the carmaker says this is a sports saloon that does not preview a particular upcoming model, but previews the future design language. That appears to be largely true, though the interior looks like bits and peaces plucked from VW Group.

The cabin of the IBL brings light leather in order to create a pleasant feel, along with contrasting surfaces covered by black leather and trim elements that match the red exterior body finish.

The design is minimalist and angular, and we expect this very proportion to be seen in a future four-door coupe from the Spanish carmaker.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
