If Al Capone would have lived to see the 1960s, he would have ditched his 1928 Cadillac V8 Town Sedan for this 1963 Buick Riviera Custom. Capone died in 1947, but for some reason we can imagine him stepping out this car with a Tommy in his hands.
Probably this is because the vehicle pictured above was built on order for Ronin Syndicate's CEO Tony Diaz with a "sinister and gangster vibe" to it, according to FirstSuperCars.
Most of you might not know it, but the first generation Buick Riviera made quite an impact when revealed in October 1962, with Jaguar founder Sir Williams Lyons and Sergio Pininfarina claiming it was one of the most beautiful American cars ever built.
Now a "highly collectible styling landmark", the V8-engined 2-door hardtop still looks mean, even if it's 50 years old (just in time for a colonoscopy, huh?). While we prefer the Riviera in stock form, we must admit that Fesler has done an outstanding job.
Painted in matte black, the Fesler Riviera gain new custom head lights, more striking than the original ones, we might add, LED strip-shaped tail lights, and brushed-aluminum 20-inch FS-903 deep-dish wheels.
While no performance figures have been released yet, we do know that the car's 7.0-liter Nailhead V8 was dropped in favor of a LS-1 Corvette unit connected to an automatic transmission. Inside the cabin, new panels, seats (wrapped in leather and Alcantara), and a 3,000 W audio system completes Fesler's masterpiece.
