The Ferrari F430 is no longer in production, but the arrival of its successor, the 458 Italia, doesn’t mean that it has been forgotten. Today, we are here to see an F430 that has received a set of aftermarket goodies.
We know that we’ve accustomed you to projects that come with less weight and more (exhaust) sound, but this is something else. One of the owners of the vehicle (it's had 2 until now) decided that what the vehicle actually needed is a screaming sound system.
Before we start describing the car, we have to tell you that it is currently for sale at Symbolic Motors, a Californian exotic and luxury car dealer. The car, which came to the world in 2007, has 12,900 miles on its odometer and is offered for $159,000. But let’s get to the point.
When it left the Ferrari factory, the supercar already came with a high-end sound system equipped with a subwoofer, but (previous) owner chose to install a Rockford Fosgate custom sound system that comes with subwoofers, door speakers and a custom amplifier. Most of the components are hidden at the front of the car, where the luggage compartment was supposed to be.
Here’s how the seller describes the vehicle: "The long list of factory options include: red tach dial, power seats, Daytona style seats, hi-fi stereo with subwoofer, lower carbon fiber package, carbon fiber steering wheel, carbon fiber driving zone, Scuderia shields, carbon ceramic brakes with red calipers, rear parking sensors, ball polished Challenge wheels, navigation, bluetooth, leather rear shelf, and dedication plaque."
"The 5,000 mile factory maintenance was completed at Ferrari of San Diego in August of 2008 with the service manuals stamped. Comes complete with all books, tools, car cover, and navigation disc. Also added was an expensive FULL Rockford Fosgate custom sound system complete with subs, door speakers, and custom amplifier enclosure sunk into the front bonnet floor!"
