BMW built the Z8 as the flagship of its roadster range between 2000 and 2003, and even though James Bond had one in the Pierce Brosnan era, the car never really caught one. Nowadays, you can still grab one for between €90,000 and say €190,000 if it’s a real minter in the Alpina configuration.
Now Senner Tuning has upgraded one example, giving the 400 hp lump under the bonnet another 50 hp, thanks to a tuned exhaust, sports air filter. They’ve also targeted the appearance of this rare coupe with a number of changes.
The most distinct is a set of Work Schwert SC1 wheels in Diamond Black varnish with anodized 9x19 and 10x19 inch chrome spokes with black centers. These are wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P tires that almost kiss the wheelarches. That’s because the Z8 sits on adjustable coilover suspension.
