BMW is looking to take its Individual line even further, with the company announcing an ultra-special 7-Series created by Indonesian rising design star Didit Hediprasetyo, a collaboration that marks BMW's first tie-up with an Asian designer.
Only five units of the vehicle are to be produced, with this already being on sale since last month. The vehicle has, of course, benefited from the experience of BMW Individual designers, but the Bavarians are also allowing customers to choose various bits and pieces, in order to transform this into a tailor-made experience.
The vehicle is dressed in a color named Frozen Diamond Metallic and also comes with BMW Individual rims. However, the real treat can be found inside the car.
Here, we get a Merino Silk Grey leather finish, while the pipping uses Meriona Platinum to create a contrast. On the headliner, we find Alcantara or Nappa leather, also finished in Silk Grey (this includes the roof, pillars, sun visors and rear shelf) and the interior trimming uses Piano Black lacquer.
The final piece comes in the form of black ostrich leather floor mats. The same material is used for two special pillows, while the headrests come with embossed Didit Hediprasetyo logos. The list of goodies also includes a BMW Individual refrigerator box with champagne glass holders placed in the center armrest, a folding table finished in Silk grey leather, monitors for those in the back a vanity compartment placed in the roof liner, as well as a dob basket, which also uses silk grey leather or Alcantara.
