Whenever the holidays come each year, all shopfronts are decorated with traditional ‘Christmasy’ stuff, and all pretty much look the same - car showrooms are no exception. However, a Belgian Volvo dealer begs to differ, and has therefor brought a very special car to his showroom - a custom two-seater pick-up version of the hot 850 T5-R, from the mid-1990s.
The car is now on display in a Volvo dealership in the city of Mechelen, and it has a Christmas tree in the back, to make it seem fitting for the occasion. Not many details about this particular car are known, but it is powered by a turbocharged five-pot petrol engine, which in stock form made 240 hp and 300 Nm of torque, which was sent to all four wheels.
