It’s about time we put an end to 2015 Mustang renderings, we told ourselves two days ago, when Ford revealed that the next-generation pony will be lose its wraps in early December. But we simply can’t! We just couldn’t resist the latest 2015 Mustang rendering that surfaced on the Mustang6g forum. Why? Because it depicts the musclecar in the most popular racing livery ever: Gulf.
Used by the Ford’s “Ferrari killing” GT40 and by the infamous Porsche 917K, among other successful race cars, the Gulf livery is far from being a common occurrance for Detroit’s iconic musclecar. However, we’re a bunch of Gulf crazy people here at autoevolution and we like just about anything in Gulf Racing light blue and orange.

Getting back to the grand unveiling that's about to take place, the 2015 Mustang will make its debut in six cities around the world on December 5, including Dearborn, New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona (Spain), Shanghai (China) and Sydney (Australia). Until then, have a look at the latest renderings of the new pony car below.
