The 987 C3 4V from Italian motorcycle manufacturer Vyrus holds the title of most powerful production bike in the world. At least at the time of its unveiling it did. The Italian manufacturer's latest model retains the traditional look of the Vyrus 984 and 985 motorcycles. Following the same hub-center steering (HCS) recipe, the bike weighs only 154 kg (339 lbs) bringing it very close to MotoGP competition motorcycles territory, which weigh around 148 kg (327 lbs). With its unconventional design, the Vyrus 987 C3 4V comes in three choices of power: the base version develops 170 hp, the second is the 'R' version rated at 184 hp, while the range-topping 'Kompressor' features a supercharger and develops 211 hp. The bike comes with all-new electronics and improved chassis design. The engine behind the these impressive figures is a Ducati-sourced 1198cc V-twin engine.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Vyrus recently revealed its latest contraption, the 987 C3 V4 naked superbike. The machine is more powerful than Suzuki’s Hayabusa, Ducati’s Desmosedici RR or Kawasaki’s ZZR1400.
