smart is getting ready to refresh it entire lineup, which should be rather easy since they only have a single body type at the moment.
We are just months away from the third generation of the smart fortwo but also from the second generation of the ill-fated smart forfour, which will be previewed at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show by the fourjoy concept, pictured in the above sketch.

The concept will be unveiled in the following hours, but the sketch is supposed to be rather accurate. According to MB Passion, the model doesn't have any doors, so the most definitely funky interior can be checked out from almost any angle.

With a two+two seat arrangement, the forjoy's size and overall design features will be 90% kept on the production version of the forfour, which will be based on a stretched version of the fortwo's platform.

Basically, this means that the fourjoy concept will also have to be rear-engined and rear-wheel drive, but there is also a strong possibility of a plug-in hybrid or even electric drive in there. We'll tell you more when the concept actually gets released.
