Mercedes-Benz Dealer Sued For Allegedly Selling a Defective Car [Photo Gallery]
Patricia K. Farris says that she bought via leasing a brand new V6 M-Class W164 from Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge on April 20, 2010, and that the car was filled with certain defects that were unknown to her at that moment.
She claims that the car presented a danger to her and other passengers after the vehicle stalled on the road and dealership apparently couldn't repair it despite numerous attempts.
All in all, the dealership is accused of breach of contract and Farris is demanding an unspecified amount of in damages, which should include attorneys fees, costs and repairs necessitated by the vehicle.
In our view, since this is a singular case and America is known as the lawsuits champion of the world, we have a few doubts about the whole story, but we'll reserve them for when the trial ends or we receive more info about the subject matter.
