Today we return with a fresh batch of images of the car sporting the same heavily-camouflaged front-end, signaling that the model we receive a rather extensive mid-cycle refresh from the design point of view.

Just like the E-Class W212 facelift, the refreshed M-Class W166 will receive an entirely new front fascia, with new full-led headlights that should look somewhat similar with those from the A-Class W176 and the upcoming C-Class W205, a new single-bar engine grille and a new side character line.

The rear appears to be largely unchanged, but we do know from earlier spyshots that the interior will sport a new tablet-like screen for the Comand system.

As far as engines are concerned, a new ML 400 version should sport the twin-turbocharged three-liter V6 with 333 hp, while the 9G-Tronic transmission will also find its way onto the midsize SUV, which should be publicly unveiled at the 2014 edition of the Paris Motor Show.
