Actually a rebadged Nissan Cefiro with the mechanics of a NIssan Maxima, the Infiniti I30 was introduced in 1995. It was named the 30 because it used the VQ30DE engine that it shared with the Maxima. Remarkably, this car, which wasn't Infiniti's most luxurious model, was the best seller for many years. The car was a replacement for the J30 sedan. The car were revised several times throughout the 90s.
