The wagon was one of the body styles offered with the first generation Ford Focus. it also benefited from the innovations that the other models enjoyed, such as the fully independent rear multi-link suspension that offered increased stability and control. The overall design of the car was inspired by the Ka, but the interior was more American, inspired by the Mondeo.
