MITSUBISHI Raider Crew Cab 2005 - Present

The Dodge Dakota based pick-up has been available ever since 2005 when it was introduced as a replacement for the Mighty Max model. Built by Chrysler as part of an assembly agreement between the American company and the Japanese producer, the Raider was released with a choice of two gasoline engines displacing 4.7 L and 3.7 L and having outputs of 230 hp and 210 hp respectively. However, 230 Hp proved to be little for the huge PowerTech V8 engine, and as of 2005, it has been dropped. The ... >> Read more

Width: 188 cm (74 in)
Weight: 1930 kg (4255 lbs)
Engine: 3.7 L V6
General evaluation: The Dodge Dakota was redesigned for the 2005 model year. The Mitsubishi Raider was introduced in the 2006 model year.
Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury.
Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on both tibias indicate that injuries to the lower left leg would be likely and injuries to the lower right leg would be possible.
