BUICK LaCrosse 2009 - Present


A new generation of Buick LaCrosse made its debut on the U.S. market at the 2009 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit. The 2010 Buick LaCrosse will be offered in three versions:CX, CXL and CXS. The LaCrosse CX and CXL are offered with a 3.0L V6 direct injected engine (255 horsepower and 286 Nm of torque), while the LaCrosse CXS is equipped with a 3.6L V6 direct injected engine (280 horsepower and 354 Nm of torque).

General evaluation: Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. The driver side curtain airbag deployed during the crash. After the dummy moved forward into the frontal airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury.
