VOLVO 343 1978 - 1982
Volvo 343 is a 3-door hatchback introduced by Volvo in 1976 in Netherlands just after the Swedish company purchased a part of DAF. At the beginning, the 343 edition was only available with a 1.4 litre engine but came with a continuous variable transmission, a feature which could be replaced with a 4-speed or 5-speed manual transmission. Since it was released, Volvo 343 received multiple improvements, the most important one taking place in 1981 when it received a new interior and redesigned front.
