VOLVO 244 1980 - 1982
Volvo 244 was a real milestone for both the car industry and the evolution of the Swedish company because Volvo equipped it with multiple innovative security measures for that period. Because of these safety parts, the USA authorities used Volvo 244 as the standard vehicle when it came to developing new technologies or improving the existing ones. The 244 model belonging to Volvo was pretty similar to the ones released in the previous years, including the 144 and the 145 editions. However, the Swedish car manufacturer equipped Volvo 244 with a new chassis, a new suspension system and larger bumpers.
