OPEL Kadett Caravan (1984 - 1991) Description & History

Boasting generous passenger and luggage room, the Cravan was surprisingly built in a 3-door version with highly questionable utility. The car was fitted with nearly the same engine range as the one found on the hatchbacks, with a choice of four petrol and two Diesel units. With displacements ranging from 1196 cc and 1796 cc, all gasoline engines, except the 1.8 L, were available with 4-step manual and 3-step automatic transmissions. The 1.8 L petrol, normally aspirated 1.6 L and the 1.5 L turbocharged Diesel were all fitted with 5-step manual transmissions.
