OLDSMOBILE 442 Convertible 1970 - 1971
The 442 was a sultry-looking muscle power developed by Oldsmobile that had been previously introduced as an option package for other Oldsmobile models during the mid 60's. The 442 became a separate model in 1970 taking the shape of a beautifully styled roadster with enough power output to drive through a thick concrete wall. Open-top driving pleasure was enhanced by the sturdy chassis and V8 petrol unit that developed 365 hp and 680Nm of maximum torque. The 442 later suffered power output decrease due to lower compression ratios that softened all GM engines.
