MITSUBISHI Pajero/Montero/Shogun Sport 2004 - 2008
Known as the Challeneger as well as the Montero Sport/Shogun Sport in some markets, Mitsubishi's mid-size SUV entered production in the mid size and received a major facelift in 2004. Despite having been available in a large number of foreign countries, the vehicle was no longer sold in Japan and North America starting with 2003 and 2004 respectively. Only recently, a second generation of the vehicle was unveiled during the Moscow Auto Show. Officials have already confirmed that the new Pajero Sport will not be marketed in Western/Cantral Europe and North America (where it was successfully replaced by the Endeavor), being aimed at Central/South American, Russian and Asian markets.
