MERCEDES BENZ S 63 AMG (W220) (2001 - 2001) Description & History

If you own a 2001 S63 AMG you must be a true big shot. Not that you wouldn't normally enjoy the same status but because the car is rarer than a purple jaguar: it was built for only one month in very few units and was specially tailored for the very few people who could afford it and who, coincidentally, were high ranking dictators and state leaders. Although it shares most of its visual features with the rest of the model range, the car comes with a large, exclusive 6.3 L V12 unit complete with a new ECU and plenty of other engine parts. Suspension has also been modified to support the car's increased weight while customer's could choose whether to have a speed limiter or not installed.
