MERCEDES BENZ ML-Klasse (W164) 2005 - 2008

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in April, 2005, the second generation ML caught the eye of many. Boasting a new chassis dubbed as the W164, the ML arrived with an entirely different body complete with parallel bonnet-vents, a new grille with three wide fins and redesigned font and rear bumpers. The interior was also updated to something even more luxurious, easily recognizable by the two handle-like beams that extend from the bottom of the central console to the storage box mounted in between the front seats.Other improvements include the introduction of Active Curve-Illuminating dual Xenon headlights, a smart 7-speed automatic transmission, air suspension and a significant increase in aerodynamic efficiency. Furthermore, 3-valve V6 and V8 plants were replaced by 4-valve units while manual transmissions were dropped.
