MAZDA 5 / Premacy 2008 - Present
Mazda 5 (or Premacy, as known on the US or Japanese markets) received its first facelift in 2008, featuring a new exterior look and a revised 2.0L petrol unit. The new model received a redesigned front and rear bumper, revised headlamps and taillights and new front grille. In the interior, the new Mazda 5 received a revised front monitor and a brand new navigation system. Also, the 2.0L unit received a new sequential valve timing leading to increased fuel efficiency, while mated to a brand new 6-speed manual transmission. Also new was the 5-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift mode. The new Mazda 5 received 5 stars at the Euro NCAP safety testing.
