INFINITI EX 2007 - Present
INFINITI EX (2007 - Present) Description & History: The Infiniti EX was introduced to the large public at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Launched as a 2008-year model, the all-new EX was fitted with all-wheel-drive and equipped with a standard 3.5-liter 24-valve V6 unit delivering 297 hp and 253 lb/ft of torque. The car was based on the FM platform - same as the G35, M & FX Infinitis or the Nissan 350Z - and featured an innovative Around View Monitor to help reduce blind spots when parking. Also new about this model is the 'Scratch Shield' paint, able to self-repair it in case of fine scratches. Despite the fact that Infiniti has recorded poor sales on this model in the US, the Japanese car maker is due to launch the EX 37 version for the European market in late 2008.
