BENTLEY Continental GTC 2011 - Present
In 2011, Bentley came out with a refreshed version of its most popular model, the Continental two-door GT coupe and GTC convertible.
Besides the design changes, the British luxury automaker also came forward with a number of powertrain changes, as the W12 model became more efficient, but most importantly it was joined by a new biturbo V8 developed in collaboration with Audi.
The 3,993cc V8 engine is capable of delivering 500 HP and 600 Nm of torque. It’s also equipped with cylinder deactivations, cutting fuel to half its cylinders and resulting in an aditionl fuel economy of approximately 8%.
Compared to the W12, the V8 biturbo is also 40% more efficient.
