Some people claim that Albert Einstein once said that there are two infinite things in life: the Universe and stupidity. He wasn't sure about the first one though. The owner of the E63 M6 below makes one strong case for the latter.
Hadi Pourmohseni and his friend, Thomas Brunner destroyed a BMW M6 using a hammer and an axe on Saturday, right in front of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The owner, Pourmohseni, claims that the Italian branch of BMW refused to repair his EUR120,000 car so he decided to do this as a sign of protest.
According to him, he went to the Italian dealer (he lives in Italy) a couple of times, complaining about rattles, vibrations and other problems but they never repaired the car in warranty. Furthermore, there was a continuous dispute as to what branch should repair it.
The Italians claim that the BMW Group should cover his repair, because they are only a dealership and since Hadi's letter to Munich went unanswered, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
We're not really sure that smashing the car to bits would repair it or would be considered a rational solution but after being done with it, Hadi said that he feels a lot better. Shame about the car though...
