BMW Rapp Anniversary Concept Rendered by Dejan Hristov

Since BMW is turning 100 in 2016, everyone expects a big project from the Bavarian manufacturer to celebrate its centenary. Up until now we've already seen a couple of interesting designs but Dejan Hristov's is the most powerful one yet.

He called it the "BMW Rapp Concept", paying tribute to the man that founded the company we all love today, Karl Friedrich Rapp. Back in the 1910s he started the Rapp Motorenwerke aircraft manufacturing company that later developed into the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (or BMW for short).

His concept came to life following the traits of the BMW 3.0CSL, the Z4 roadster and the i8 Spyder. Compared to other renderings we've seen so far, this one is pretty accurate, respecting most BMW trademark features.

It has a huge front kidney grille, mean looking side gills inspired by the BMW 507 Roadster, and suicide doors from the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The open roof comes from the i8 Spyder and the rest come from his imagination.

We love it though. It looks like a worthy replacement for the current Batmobile and that is yet another good news. Furthermore, it looks so menacing, so pointy and sharp that it inspires fear just by looking at it.

"On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of first foundation of BMW, I present you the BMW Rapp Concept. The basic idea was to embrace the history of BMW making this concept represent of everything that BMW stands for as a company," said Dejan.
