MINI Outraged by Leaked Spyshots of Upcoming Cooper S
The company owned by BMW now just released a statement, expressing its shock and disgust that the world is really so interested in the new model that it's spying on it like it was a tabloid celebrity.
In a typical British tone, filled with sarcasm and jokes, the press release accuses the spy photographers of taking lousy shots of the car and making it look uglier than it really is.
Officials say that the car is way better looking than it appears in the published photos and the errors are due to the extra long telephoto lenses used in such endeavors.
In the end, as a quick reminder, MINI lets us know that the official unveiling isn't that far (especially now, that the world already knows how it's going to look like) and we'll get to feast our eyes on the new car and take as many photos as we please when the time comes. Well, hurry up!
You'll find the official statement in the attached .pdf.
