MINI Goes MAXI with a 5.7-liter V8 [Photo Gallery]

For sale on eBay, we found a paradox of a car. A monster-truck made from a MINI shell. Yes, that's what we said: a MINI Monster truck. Actually all that's left of the original 1965 MINI Cooper is the shell and the interior, all of the other stuff, like the engine, suspension, wheels, etc coming from other cars. Even so, when driving it down the road, you'll still see the MINI interior.
Even though this beast is advertised as a Classic MINI, the seller made a list of all the modifications that the car has gone through. The monster sits on a Jeep YJ frame with 6" lift kit, has four-wheel drive, 4 disk brakes, power steering (of course) and 35" tires.
The ad doesn't specify the power the 5.7-liter V8 produces. That's a shame because the "350 crate engine" he said the monster has could develop anything from 145 HP to 370 HP.
Either way, this MINI will surely attract a lot of crowd attention and it will definitely be a head turner when driving down the street. For the asking price of $15,000 it's a real bargain for a one of a kind car.
