The biggest auto show for tuners in Europe, Essen Motor Show, is currently underway and filled with world premieres. One of the most impressive displays at the event is the Manhart Racing stand that hosts 3 world premieres.
One of them is a 400 HP strong BMW 1 Series, dubbed Manhart MH1 400. The car is based on the 135i model turbocharged into oblivion. The torque spiked from 400 Nm (300 lb-ft) to 561 Nm (414 lb-ft) of torque, drastically improving pedal response.

The suspension is KW Clubsport with some Manhart upgrades. Of course with such power comes great responsibility. That means more stopping power was needed therefore the brakes now measure 380 mm at the front and 356 mm at the back.

Wheels come from OZ, Ultraleggera, of course, measuring 19x8.5 inches all around on Michelin Super Sport rubber. On the exterior, Manhart Carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffusor, mirror caps and a special foil. Inside you’ll find BMW Performance seats, a lot of Alcantara and carbon ornaments.
