The initial plan was to install 'just' an ESS VT2-625 supercharger. However, such a high-performance unit needs more air to breathe, so they had to install an aftermarket exhaust also. Since this is EAS, no other custom exhaust manufacturer except Akrapovici could possibly be considered.
The first thing they did was to put the car on the dyno track to see exactly how much power of the 414 HP from the 4-liter V8 reached the rear wheels. The first result showed 350 WHP which is what most M3s will turn out on the track.
After everything was installed a retest had to be done. The results were impressive. The scale tipped at 585 WHP, meaning the car's power output was increased by 235 WHP.
However, you wouldn't take this car for such a beast judging only by its looks. Listening to it is a completely different story. The Akrapovic Titanium Evolution Exhaust will let you know it's not recommended to mess around with this Bimmer.
