The MINI Cooper is the most successful MINI sold since BMW took over the British company. Its small size and sporty feel make it a favorite for all hot hatch enthusiasts.
The MINI hot hatch has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with 122 HP and 160 Nm of torque. However there are 3 other models available, namely he Cooper D, Cooper SD and the Cooper S. The Cooper D has a 1.6-liter diesel engine with 112 HP and 270 Nm of torque (and a combined fuel consumption figure of 4.4 l/100km) while the Cooper S has a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine tuned up to deliver 184 HP and 240 Nm of torque.

The top of the line Cooper is the John Cooper Works edition that has 211 HP and 260 Nm of torque available from 1,850 RPM. The JCW edition accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 237 km/h. The starting price for this one is $34,000.

Carlex release a beautiful custom interior for the Cooper S. We're sure this interior is also available for the other Coopers but they have a gallery showing just the S version.

The seats, dashboard, pillars and roof have all been covered in black Alcantara leather decorated with red stitching. The door side panels and the quilt have also been put through the Alcantara treatment for an exquisite feel. The red stitching really stands out for an eye-catching contrast and goes really well with the car's bright Orange cluster color.

The time needed for such a transformation is set at around 38 hours. Doesn't seem unreasonable. The price tag, however, might be a little steep but if you want the best quality money should not be a problem.
