BMW F22 M235i Unveiled Through Live Photos

The mystery around the brand new 2 Series vanished last night, despite BMW's hardest efforts to keep everything behind closed doors until October 25. Someone managed to snap some live photos of the M235i and they're all over the internet right now.

Now, just days before the official unveiling, we can feast our eyes on the brand new coupe from BMW. The new car looks amazing in our humble opinion and we can't wait to drive it. The design lines have gone a bit astray from the 1 Series and we sincerely adore it.

The car in the photos also seems to be wearing M Performance Parts, a comforting detail, meant to let us know that the 2 Series will also benefit from the OEM accessories, just like almost every other model in the BMW line-up.

As for technical specs, the new car will be using the same 3-liter N55 turbocharged engine that will be making a bit more power than in the M135i, being rated at 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

The new Coupe will also be lighter than the 1 Series Hatch, weighing in at 1,455 kg with the manual transmission and 1,470 kg with the automatic single-clutch 8-speed ZF one, whereas the M135i weighs 1,505 kg with the manual and 1,520 kg with the automatic.

The most important detail about the new car though, is the acceleration time to 100 km/h (62 mph), the area most people care for. The manual will do the benchmark speed in 5 seconds while the automatic will do the same in 4.8 seconds.
