BMW F10 M5 LCI Is Frozen Blue at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
One of them was done in Frozen Blue. This marketing exercise had two reasons behind it: number one - it brought out the beauty of the M3 Coupe, number two - letting everybody know that there is a brand new color available for M cars at BMW through the Individual program.
It seems like the experiment was successful, as the Frozen Paint scheme is getting more and more popular despite its spicy price tag of $5,000. Lately, we've seen BMW bringing more and more cars wearing this kind of paint at various Motor Shows.
At this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the Bavarian company arrived with a couple of such automobiles too. The M6 Gran Coupe wore some kind of purple, the X6 M wore white whilst the LCI M5 came prepared with a deep blue shade, all of them in Frozen guise.
Furthermore, for more contrast, the M5 present on the premises of BMW's stand in Hall 11 is wearing BMW M Performance Ceramic Brakes with golden calipers and Titanium finished wheels, especially developed for this car.
