The guys from European Auto Source are some sort of wizards in this regard and the number of supercharged M3s that came out of their hands is "Too damn high!" as Jimmy McMillan would say.
That leaves you with a couple of options. The most popular by far seem to be the ESS systems, in their variations. Now, depending on how much power you really want, you can go from 500 WHP to over 700, it's all up to you.
The owner of this E90 M3 went for the VT550 system and, after everything was in place, the car was put to the test on the dyno. The end-result? 502 WHP and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque at the wheels, an increase of 125 HP that you actually feel.
