The first thing you notice are the big 20" Turbine Wheels the B6 has. Their unmistakeable design will instantly let you know that you're not dealing with any random BMW 650i.
Going closer you'll also notice the new front air splitter that reduces the lift by up to 10 percent. Entering the car you'll feel instantly at home. The level of care for detail and the materials used on the car are even better than in a regular BMW 6 Series.
The dash is changed, the speedometer now shows Alpina badges and when the counter goes over 2000 RPM you'll feel the car roaring due to the custom exhaust and the improved power figures.
Those improved numbers ad up to 540 HP and an astonishing 790 Nm (583 lb-ft) almost as high as the M6. Furthermore, the suspension has been upgraded and is even more comfortable or rougher depending on your needs.
The car is fast. No doubt about it but you also feel it's weight. With a kerb weight of 1870 Kg (4122 lb) you can't really say this is a light car. However, you'll still be able to drive it like a maniac without losing control for a second.
Overall, even though it is a bit expensive (starting at €110,000 or $141,500) if there ever was a car worth this kind of money, this is it.
