2014 BMW F33 4 Series Convertible Unveiled

Looks like BMW is finding it hard to keep its most prized cars under complete secrecy until their official release date. After catching a glimpse of how the 2 Series and MINI Cooper S will look like whilst they were posing for a photo shoot, now the 4 Series Convertible was accidentally unveiled on one of their websites.

The car was spotted on the Belgian BMW page, in an accessory catalogue and it was almost instantly distributed all over the web. These first images she us the car in Alpine White for the moment but we're expecting BMW to fully reveal the car in a few days, considering this mishap.

It might seem odd to look at the Convertible with a bike rack at the back but you'd better get used to it, as BMW is really trying to support an active lifestyle for its customers (remember the Active Tourer Outdoor?).

As for technical details, we'll just have to wait for a little longer but we're expecting the same engines as on the Coupe, at first the 435i and 428i will be released, soon to be followed by a 420i, some diesel alternatives and probably an all-wheel-drive version too.

Since our early spyshots caught the F33 with the top up too and we know that the 4 Series will have a hard-top, expect the performance numbers to be a bit off from the Coupe. Official launch might take place in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
